Hey all........lfs-6.1 is booted and running. I think the real learning begins as I try to "see" in a non-gui environment. If anyone is in the mood to answer a few basic questions, my feelings will not be hurt. How bout some of you new(er) guys, who still remember the pain.
1) a lot of errors about hotplug not being able to load libraries during boot. 2) it appears that root does not have a .bash_profile and .bashrc file any tips would be helpful 3) earlier bash was not able to find "shutdown" i finally found it in sbin.......PATH, i believe should establish the search directories.
