instead of typing all command lines stipulated there, can I first
create following simple script:-

install -dv /usr/local/{bin,etc,include,lib,sbin,share,src}
ln -sv share/{man,doc,info} /usr/local
install -dv /usr/local/share/{doc,info,locale,man}
install -dv /usr/local/share/{misc,terminfo,zoneinfo}
install -dv /usr/local/share/man/man{1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8}
install -dv /var/{lock,log,mail,run,spool}

ln -sv /tools/bin/{bash,cat,pwd,stty} /bin
ln -sv /tools/bin/perl /usr/bin
ln -sv /tools/lib/libgcc_s.so{,.1} /usr/lib
ln -sv bash /bin/sh
# End of mkdirsymlink.sh
chmod 0755 mkdirsymlink.sh
copy mkdirsymlink.sh to sources/ on the HD first
after chroot, run
# ./sources/mkdirsmlink.sh
