Of course I do use the LFS-Live-CD. BTW a very nice peace of work
of real experts, the best LiveCD I ever used and extremly useful to
have with the Book!
And I did reboot and it did help ;-)
Now, the only problem seems to be:
"readelf -l a.out | grepp ': /tools'"
Nothing as output, no "[Requesting program interpreter:
/tools/lib/ld-linux.so.2]"
Apologies for not reading your original post telling about the
power-loss. In that case I wouldn't have tried to install the Binutils
package, but removed and rebuild it, as power loss during the build can
cause some very unwanted side-effects.. Maybe I'm paranoid, but if
something goes wrong in my builds, and it's not obvious what caused it,
then the safe thing to do is usually to start over..
When you've done that a few times, you'll really come to love nALFS ;)
