I've moved my LFS 6.3 from real SATA to VMWARE (Server 1.0.4) SCSI. I added the BusLogic SCSI support in the kernel and it boots fine.
However, it wastes about 10 seconds each checking for sdc, sdd, sde, ... sdo. Adding sdc=noprobe after the root in grub has no effect. Is this syntax wrong? What else can I do (besides set up 14 8M drives to ignore).
