An awful lot of "Compilation failed to produce an executable". All I can really suggest this early in the book is that you review section 5.8 "Adjusting the Toolchain" and perhaps 'iv. Host system Requirements'. I don't normally run testsuites in chapter 5, even for the toolchain, but these results aren't encouraging. Perhaps you should also check that you didn't miss one of the previous steps.
I've seen arguably *worse* results on one of my own builds, but that was in chapter 6 and I think I'd missed some of the essential symlinks in that case. In this case, even your C compiler seems to be broken.
