It states in chapter 5.4:
If building on x86_64, create a symlink to ensure the sanity of the toolchain:
case $(uname -m) in
x86_64) mkdir -v /tools/lib && ln -sv lib /tools/lib64 ;;
esac
I just want to confirm. Do I still need to do this If I am building the 32 bit
version of LFS on a 64bit machine or does it only apply when building the 64bit
version on a 64bit machine?
Thanks
Gary
