I don't even know how to get started with LFS. I'd like to eventually add X or Xfree support. I have a fat32 partition reserved to change to an ext3 and begin with if I knew what to do after using mke2fs. Should binutils be compiled without any versioning support? Maybe with the -static linker switch from my RH 9 System?
