[lfs-support] help LFS 6.0 Ch 5.7.1 glibc-2.14.1 configure: error: gcc must provide the header

Configure stops with error:
                configureL error: gcc must provide the <cpuid.h> header


Host Proc Arch = i686
Gcc -version = 4.1.2

Cupid.h is in /mnt/lfs/tools/lib/gcc/i686-lfs-linux-gnu/4.6.1/include/cupid.h

What do I need to do to fix this?
