Nope did not forget that one
In other news groups I read that gcc is a too old version.
Use gcc 4.1.2 from the LFS liveCD 6.3

The trick to copy the cupid.h to /usr/include results in:
 "checking installed Linux kernel header files...   TOO OLD!

Gonna burn a Knoppic 6.7.1 LiveCD  hope all needed tools are on it.

Perhaps you forgot to apply the cpuid patch?
