Hi,
I am aiming to build a user mode linux distribution of size around 80 MB.
The distribution is supposed to be used for emulating hosts in a network
emulator. So, I need a lean system with few network tools (tcpdump,
ettercap, nc, hping2, etc) installed on it.
I am using LFS v7.6 book. I was hoping to use uClibc instead of glibc.
I came across this hint on uClibc based LFS:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/downloads/files/OLD/uclibc-lfs.txt
However, the mentioned prerequisite uClibc-lfs-patches are not available.
The ftp link seems to be dead.
Where can I find the required patches? Or is there another work around?
That is a really old hint -- 2002. The most recent version of uClibc is
dated May 2012. I'd try that without any patches.
