The explanation of the configuration parameters for libstdc++ includes the lines: --disable-libstdcxx-threads Since we have not built the thread C library, the C++ one cannot be built as well.
This should read "the C++ one cannot be built *either*" or, alternatively "we must inhibit the build of the C++ one as well".
