I'm using book version 7.7, currently on chapter 5.9. Binutils-2.25 - Pass 2. Here is my question.
General compilation instructions (chapter 5.3) don't say anything about previously extracted archives. For the second pass, should I remove previously extracted Binutils-2.25 archive again or I can reuse what was extracted in chapter 5.4? I'm pretty sure that I can re-use it, but given that I don't know the exact details of the compilation pass 1 could produce files and directories in the extracted folder. Any help is appreciated.
