Hi all
I wanted to start to give 7.8 (LFS and BLFS) a try.
My current system runs 7.7 LFS with a few updates and BLFS mostly
7.8-ish, with some stuff from svn.
My only concert is gcc bumping to Version 5. It would be great if
anybody has some experience regarding the following questions:
- Are there any problems to be expected with some c++ stuff? I thought I
read something about that somewhere.
- I have a binary download of libreoffce 5.0.4. Will this work with the
new libstdc++ stuff?
- If there are some problem I guess I can just replace gcc 5 with gcc
4.9.1 in lfs, that shouldn't be a problem? Just falling back to the 7.7
chapters for all gcc stuff should be sufficient?
Kind regards
Tim
