Even though a default LFS install is fairly well secured on its own, some
recent insights for hardening the system would still go a long way to ensuring
a well and truly locked down box. It seems the HLFS project is in need of a
maintainer; I'd consider volunteering but alas I would be painfully under
qualified! In the meantime, are there any relatively recent guidelines for
hardening linux that would be relevant for the latest LFS packages?
