I copied everything off the USB drive and onto the new system, and rebuilt the kernel from there. I'll retry my kernel build again and triple-check all the menuconfig settings to make sure they're sane. Is there anything earlier I need to redo? I don't need to rebuild any parts of the toolchain steps for a new system? (To be fair, it took me five tries to get a bootable system, so I'll rebuild LFS from scratch on the secondary computer if it's something I can't fix by rebuilding the kernel a few times.) -Scott
