I think the buggy gftp client supports sftp, but it sure would be really
GREAT if lftp would be able to support sftp!!

"fish" is not real ftp-over-ssh!!! When using "fish" with lftp it seem to
login at the remote host with a valid shell and then just simply translate
the ftp-commands to the appropriate ones for e.g. /bin/bash .
REAL ftp-over-ssh does not need a working shell on the remote host! For
example SecureFX (for Windows) accepts a shell like /bin/false on the remote
host (which means that you can't login with e.g. ssh) but can tunnel the
REAL ftp-commands thru port 22 on the remote host to the ftp-server on the
host. The hosts sees it as the connection comes from the localhost and it
really works! That cool!! Unfortunately lftp does not support that... :(
