It must be the same sentiment some people have towards chocolate and
you towards snide remarks: just irresistible.

I picked the name "template" up from you, who correctly reminded me
that it really is a collection of rule templates.

That said, I don't mind library.mak, it's better than subdir.mak.
I'm fine with small iterative improvements even in cases where I'm
convinced I know (and have) a better solution.
