Rather, I didn't attach a second one when I sent a second mail after that first patch. The second one was replacing using a particular MMX instruction sequence to emulate the SPLATW behaviour. Waiting for me to find and send that second one is a waste of time, so I'm for applying yours. I don't think it matters, as mine has a marginal advantage at best.
