Cygwin comes with nasm 2.08 (of course you can compile yasm there).

Thanks, this is a good overview. The only system missing there is
OS/2, which is of course fringe, but IIRC it has no yasm at all.
Yasm doesn't support any of the OS/2 object formats (a.out and OMF).
The OS/2 build instructions at

recommend grabbing the latest OS/2 nasm snapshot, but apparently they
are no longer prebuilt for OS/2. The 2.10 release has no OS/2 binaries,
but 2.09.10 has, there are 2.10 binaries available from OS/2 forums.
I'll keep building nasm binaries and uploading them to

In any case, once this is settled, we need a FATE instance with our
minimal required nasm version or at the very least some nasm version,
otherwise this will break again. I can take care of it.
Once this is settled I'll re-enable yasm/nasm here.
