I always wanted a reason to dig into libav or x264 source code. Thus, I might consider volunteering. Can you give me a leg up where to start digging from the hardware-library-side -- as an entry point for reading, or just playing around? I can't promise anything, of course, but I am very curious at least. Maybe I can transform this curiosity into something useful.
