I would never dream of posting to ffmpeg-devel complaining how they run
their project.  If I don't like how they run things I can go fuck myself.

No.

I deny that anybody made a mistake here.  Neither did we, nor did FFmpeg.
I found it peculiar that you pick the project with fewer attribution
ambiguities to rant about, but both projects are firmly between "zero" and
"still nothing".

They made choices a and b in situations x and y, we made choices a' and b'
in situations x and y.  Both are legitimate.  Now stop persecuting either
project.
