Then, the entity sending you the frames through the network must provide
the extradata, in some way (for example, some streaming servers provide
a .nsc file, which probably contains the encoded extradata).
If you are receiving encoded video from some kind of streaming server, you
have to know the streaming protocol used by the server... It will probably
explain how the extradata are passed.
