Sounds like the player is maybe looking for a sequence header? Depends on

What is the sequence header, if I may ask? Something that is emitted on
codec start?
I'm asking this, because when I use a low GOP, like 5 for example, all works
just fine. As for the codec, I'm using the MPEG4 Part-2.

I will try the codec open/close approach too, but prefer to make the
enforcing work, as it seems to me a cleaner solution.
