Thanks, but note that I submitted a slightly changed version of the 
patch that handles 3 byte integers correctly.  See 
<http://www.mail-archive.com/libdbi-devel@lists.sourceforge.net/msg00255.html> 
for the new version of the patch.  I don't know if 3 byte integers are 
actually used, but if so the first version of the patch won't work 
right.
