Whether or not Berman would actually be an appropriate choice for Secretary of State, evaluating his merits should not be done in as shallow a manner as promoting the business interests of his district, Hollywood -- which is pretty appropriate for an agent model of representation. -- Collin Anderson Sent with Sparrow <http://www.sparrowmailapp.com/?sig> On Monday, November 12, 2012 at 3:39 PM, Nadim Kobeissi wrote: The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Congressman Howard Berman is being considered as the replacement for Hillary Clinton when she steps down as Secretary of State in coming weeks: http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-pn-berman-secretary-of-state-clinton-20121107,0,963486.story Berman was a lead supporter of SOPA.
