I've just tried a login to Twitter from the United Kingdom using Tor. I was asked to verify my Twitter ID, first time I've seen this. Then I received an email from Twitter with the title

Find answers in the Twitter Help center Thank you, The Twitter Security Team Then I tried a login from a browser running on a vps in Estonia, no verification or email this time. Not using Tor for this although I am still logged in from the Tor login. Results may have been different had I been in Iran.
