Hi all,

Thanks to those of you who have flagged an apparent issue with one of the
state.gov Internet freedom URLs. This is just a minor technical issue. The URL
www.state.gov/netfreedom<http://www.state.gov/netfreedom> has for a long time
redirected to
www.humanrights.gov/issues/internet-freedom/<http://www.humanrights.gov/issues/internet-freedom/>
(our primary Internet Freedom page, which remains unchanged). Our best guess
is that this old redirect was broken in the state.gov site upgrade that
happened around Thanksgiving. We don't use that link very often. In any
event, we've ask that it be restored.

Also relevant to your interests may be the link for the DRL Internet Freedom
grant solicitation (next Statement of Interest deadline February 10). That
page is here, as always:
https://www.state.gov/j/drl/p/c12302.htm

Best regards,
DRL's Internet Freedom Team

https://www.humanrights.gov/dyn/issues/internet-freedom.html is showing up
right now. I did a quick visual comparison to the latest copy at the Archive,
and they seem to match up.

No PGP signature, so this may not be me. Is it?

Hi all,

This morning, a colleague visited the DRL website only to find that the
content had been deleted. I checked another page and found it had was no
longer available.

So... yeah... That's bad. =( Guess the fascists figured out this whole
"free speech" thing wasn't working out for them.
