This article was my own. I don't think I suffer from "collective mindset" as in fact I argue against this strongly in some arguments in a series of emails:

Particularly Karl Popper's 'The Open Society and it's Enemies' who traces the rise of totalitarian philosophy from Plato to Nietsche to Marx and National Socialism is an eyeopener in regarding collectivist philosophies. After reading this I could also see the same totalitarian collectivism clearly in Islam which is an extremely powerful totalitarianism that threatens individuals rights wherever it gains power.
