Au contraire, it most certainly IS a competition between the
Republicans and the Democrats. (And I guess you could say the
Libertarians too.)

Today's political makeup:

Republican Party - Squishy politicians. Put their fingers in the
air to see which way the wind is blowing. Mouth off Conservative
and even occasionally libertarian rhetoric. Once in a great while
they cut taxes and propose a cut-back in a government program.

Democrat Party - Fascists, Communists, Socialists and other assorted
Totalitarians. Nuff said.

Libertarian Party - Extremist nutballs, represented in the last
Presidential election by a guy who said that he'd like to "bomb" the
UN building in New York City, and suggested that our own government
was "behind the 9/11 attacks." The Party by the same name has not
elected a single Congressman in its 35 year history, nor a
Governor. And it has not elected a state legislator in over 15
years.

Hmmn. The choices suck, but I'll take the squishy politician guys
who occasionally throw me a bone like a small tax cut any day of the
week.
