I think equality of opportunity is meant in terms of equal civil
rights for all.

People only need to be equal in front of the law.

Libertarians promoting equality of opportunity is something I do
not understand. People create their own opportunities and need to
learn how to see those opportunities. If they fail to do that it
is only because of lack in talent and abilities.

Equality of opportunity is just way too much of a positive
liberty for me.
