Hello Shawn,

I recommend that you get the book, "Libertarianism in One Lesson".
The author is David Berland. You can purchase an new updated version 
of the book at: http://www.lfb.com
I also recommemend the book: "Healing Our World the Other Piece of 
the Puzzle" by Dr. Mary Ruwart. There are disagreements amoung 
libertarians so you may want to keep that in mind if you see an 
issue or two slightly different than others who say they are a 
libertarian.
