I understand and I respect all of these comments.  I
guess, for me, two things factor in that make it a bit
difficult for me.  One is that I was a lifelong
Republican and I'm slowly recovering from that.  The
other is that my little brother is a Marine who served
in Iraq at the beginning of the war and lost a close
friend within a few feet of him ON his birthday (No
lie). Many of my friends are Marines who served in
Iraq and I guess it's just difficult to come to terms
with the insanity and inanity of it all.
