Ack, Urmas your still here... I thought I would only have to talk to Paul.. wich doesn't require much thought... What are your feelings thought on the base issue that this stemmed from... can there be a partial libertarian?
As for the points, your very right on the difference between China and Russia. As for the Bolshevik affair, I was not speaking soley about the leadership, I mean every single litle red soldier there was, did they envision the same end goal as those leaders? Was not the marxist ideal for the state to eventualy wither away and disapear threw socialism. Lenin's tune changed a great deal when he came to power, and continued to change as he menuevered to maintain that power. With out any stories or poorley thought out analogies, I say this Urmas, for any real tangible success in the American Libertarian party, it needs to reach out to the moderate centrist minded massess with compromise. Liberals and Conservatives compromise, no matter how ripe the US political enviroment is for change and a third party to step in, if Libertarians are unwilling to compromise with the American people, they will not be that third party and will never reach more than marginal success. That is what I want to say, unfortunatly there is just something about paul that makes me go insane and draws me into rediculous arguments... Can you comment on that line of thought for me Urmas, as I always have valued your opinion. ForumWebSiteAt http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Libertarian Yahoo!
