Such as getting beat like a drum for his efforts. lol Paul, that was 
the question that popped into my mind as well when I read that 
statement. So many can't get it through their heads that they are 
disavowing the values that true Libertarians hold sacrosanct when 
they compromise in the hopes of winning votes. That is precisely what 
Republicans and Democrats have done for decades upon decades - and 
why they have a monopoly on the political system. That is also why we 
see our liberties eroding at an almost exponential rate. Once we 
compromise who we are, for whatever reason, we lose the credibility 
and foundation upon which Libertarian ideals are built upon. The only 
thing that matters to some people is winning at all costs, forget 
about integrity, liberty, and uncompromising values. To most, those 
ideals just don't add up to a damn!
