For atheists, this might be a meaningless comparison. (Except for the
atheists who believe we have souls, I suppose.)

Near as I can tell, we're no different from Republicans, in terms of our
effect on the world. Republicans run for office, and then government
gets bigger. We run for office, and then government gets bigger.

Of course, we're "principled" so our complete irrelevance is excused
because we are virtuous. (For an in-depth elaboration of that snarky
comment, visit <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LOP-General/message/867>)

You may be able to help me out.

I've been accumulating a list of people who believe the
pledge/oath/credo/whatnot has a definite meaning (or doesn't) and what
that definite meaning is (if it has one), and what to do about. I
intend to reformat the list, remove obsolete information, etc. and would
like to add you to the new list.

It appears, based on what you've posted, that you would be listed under:
AN
KP

Please let me know if that is correct. -Eric

P.S. That invitation is open to every Libertarian (or would-be
Libertarian) who wishes to be on the list. -ESH

Choices for its meaning are:
   AN "ANarchism"
          (no government)
   ID "IDeal"
(it's an ideal, which ma be approached but may not be possible
to attain)
   MD "Monotonic Decreasing"
          (decrease government)
   NB "No Bombs" (members)
(members do not blow up buildings or otherwise engage in
terrorism, sabotage, etc.)
   NI "No Increase"
          (Government should not increase)
   UN "UNclear"
(It has no definite meaning obvious on first reading, and
perhaps no definite meaning at all)
   OT OTher
(There is a definite meaning, but not one listed above)

What to do about the requirement:
   RP Repeal the requirement
   KP Keep the requirement
   AB Don't care
