I don't want to make light of something so horrible.  But to put this
instance into context, the plane was reported to be carrying the top 40-50
Egyptian Army Generals (and other brass) returning to Cairo from their
Pentagon meetings.

Pure conjecture on my part, but perhaps the pilot thought he was preventing
further looting by the Clinton war machine??
