People can make whatever excuses they want. I believe many here are quite
sincere - I'm only bothered when they ascribe to me an opinion that I don't
hold. It's even worse when people who call themselves libertarian do that -
they should know better.

  That's how I read it too Cory.  And yes, I also opposed the war.  I also
  oppose Big Government Liberals AND Big Government Conservatives (currently
  the much-deserved whipping boys, given they control all three branches of
  gooferment).

  Personally, I am pro-liberty.  As a result, that makes me
  anti-a-lot-of-damned-things.  Unlike some fair-weather libs, I don't
  coddle the GOP or make excuses when they are in charge, while rightfully
  skewering the Dems when they are the running the show.  But then, I'm a
  libertarian, not a liberventionist apologist or a "libertarian
  republican."

  Whatever that is.
