Wonder why Steven Linnaberry and Paul Ireland have been silent about my post reporting what I regard as an advocate of Anarcho-libertarianism who was elected to the Phillipsburg, Montana City Council as a Republican Party candidate? Guess it doesn't quite fit their paradigm. An Ayn Randist/Escapist/Anarchist-leaning libertarian advocate running and getting elected on the Republican ticket??? Will wonders ever cease??? ***** Eric- You must have missed my post on this subject a couple of days ago. While I wasn't speaking to that particular instance, I did state that there are libertarians in both the democrat and republican parties. And that they are probably very frustrated. I know I was. But since you brought it up, who are "libertarian" members of the republican (or democrat) parties going to support for POTUS in '08? Pete DuPont and Ron Paul are both too old. Without throwing away principle, there is absolutely NOBODY to support. Again, nobody is arguing that it is MUCH easier to get elected locally as a republican (or a democrat). PEACE Steven R.
