Eric,
Then I have to apologize. It looked as though you were using
"Darwinism" in this context:
"As a humorous celebration of evolution, the annual Darwin Award
is bestowed on individuals who aid the process of evolution by
demonstrating their unfitness through fatally stupid actions."
-Wikipedia
Again, if you were seriously using it as the social philosophy
(more in the context of science and evolution), I am sorry.
Regarding SD, I would probably be described as one, but I don't
think the outcome of universal consistent libertarianism would
produce the deleterious/elitist effects on society that have been
ascribed to the philosophy.

{American jurors have complete Constitutional authority to vote
"not guilty" based on nothing more than a disagreement with the
case, no matter the evidence - despite the judge's instructions.
There is absolutely no obligation to vote "guilty" to arrive at a
unanimous verdict. Get on a jury, stand your ground, and fulfill
its other main purpose: to counteract abusive government and
unjust lawsuits.

What's your problem? I wasn't being at all sarcastic. I'm an
active member of the Social Darwinist Group. There's 29 of us.
I'm
extending an invitation to you to join.
If you're an agnostic, atheist or Deist (as I am), and you're a
libertarian, chances are your also a Social Darwinist.
If you are not, sorry for offending you. No offense intended.
I agree with about 90% of what you post here.
