Dear Dr. Strangelove, "Again, if you do not wish to fight Islamo-Fascism in Iraq and Afghanistan, would you rather fight it at the Rio Grande, and in Buffalo, Bellingham, and Portland, ME? " I certainly have no intentions of beginning a war in Ohio, as per your previous post, nor is there any reason to go to war at the Rio Grand, Buffalo, etc., etc. Sorry, no war for you today there, either.
" Topless beaches? Don't know about your girlfriend, but mine goes topless at Crystal Beach in Texas." Neither my wife nor my teenaged daughters go topless. Should they desire to do so, I would not recommend it in public, but at private facilities, if the circumstances were such that they would wish to do so, where they would not be subject to arrest. Marijuana is not legal anywhere in the U.S. If by "quasi-legal" you mean that it is illegal, but the local gendarmes will not enforce it, this is a risky behavior which I would not recommend. You takes your chances, you pays your dues. "Let's see now, prostitution is completely legal in two states of the United States; Nevada and Puerto Rico. It is quasi-legal in numerous municipalities across the US including San Fran, southern Cal, Miami, parts of Houston, ect... " Having been a Nevada resident for nearly two decades now, I can assure you that prostitution is NOT "completely legal" here (Puerto Rico is a state? When did that happen?). Prostitutes are arrested here in Las Vegas every day when they come (pardon the pun) to town assuming, as you do, that prostitution is legal. Houses of prostitution are franchised by rural county/state arrangements which are heavily controlled and regulated--and taxed. There is no private prostitution, save in that "quasi-legal" framework mentioned above. " Again, if you do not wish to fight Islamo-Fascism in Iraq and Afghanistan..." Again, your hatred of the religion of Islam is rather incredible, Dr. Strangelove. I have no interest in fighting people who have been ravaged, raped and brutalized, even if they are devout moslems. I would rather help them. Afghanistan was dominated by Russian forces for many years before the people banded together to kick them out of their country. With the support of the Saudis, the religious training schools built the taliban. The ensuing civil war between the taliban and the warlords left neither a clear winner, and is a continuing issue which the Afghanistanis themselves must resolve. The U.S. military has no business being involved in their affairs, and has not been an aid to the people. Were there a plebicite held, the U.S. would have no mandate. I do not recall any Afghanistani on board the planes on 9/11, nor any Iraqis. Not that it would have made any difference to the Bushits. Every society has its extremists, Bushits and the U.S. military has handed a great deal of power to the extremists in the moslem world, and provided their sanction to act as they have done. The extremist support by the youth and the general community throughout the moslem world will continue to grow, as it has done, so long as the American people are unable to reign in the U.S. military. How to stop the "Islamo-Fascist"? End the reign of our own fascists. Just a thought. Apology and mea culpa expected.
