I sent this e-mail out over an hour before the show started, and it was never posted. I'm wondering...what gives?
Oh well. The show was done, and no one called in, but the downloads are going up. I apologize for the abrupt cancellation of my show on Friday, due to personal issues beyond my control. It wasn't exactly cancelled; I just postponed it to another date, which is the Monday after this week. Liberty Cap Talk Live, my newest Internet talk radio show, was supposed to air 3 p.m. EST today, but this morning I chose to move it to 10 p.m. EST because of the lack of sleep I had been getting. Anyway, the show will start promptly at 10 p.m. EST on BlogTalkRadio.com. The URL for the show's host page is http://www.blogtalkradio.com/libertycaptalklive. The show's official website is http://www.libertycaptalklive.com, and it's being updated as I speak. Those of you who have never heard the show will be pleased to know that it is hosted by Todd Andrew Barnett who is a practicing Wiccan and is a philosophical libertarian. The show can be heard live on BlogTalkRadio.com, but you need your latest copy of Windows Media Player to tune into the show. You can also download the show as a Winamp (.wma) or a Podcast (.mp3). It's an hour long. The show's basically about libertarian ideas and politics for those who are into pure libertarian ideology, but it's now being expanded to non-libertarians who are free to voice their concerns, objections, or ideas about the libertarian philosophy. It's open to liberals and conservatives as well as those who are both conservative and liberal Pagans. Today's show will is aptly titled "Can Wiccans and Pagans Be Libertarians?" If you think they can be, call into the show and talk about it. If you don't, feel free to believe otherwise and call into the show nevertheless. We will also cover the News from both the religious and political perspectives tonight. This IS a show you don't wanna miss!! :-) Tune in, guys! This will be the event of the evening, and I, for one, am looking forward to enjoy it!
