It is not the place of an American libertarian to propose for South Africa. Nor for Americans of any sort. Nor for libertarians anywhere (except South Africa). The future of South Africa is for South Africans to decide. It is interesting and useful for analysts to point out that South Africa has been going downhill technologically since blacks took over, as has all of sub-Saharan Africa since independence. Nations that had agricultural surpluses under white rule now have oxen pulling the tractors. Affirmative action is in place in South Africa, applying to 75% of the population. White managers have been replaced by inexperienced and unqualified blacks, who then hire the former managers as consultants to tell them how to do their jobs. ____________________________________________________________________________________ We won't tell.
