The following resolution was UNANIMOUSLY adopted by the Executive
Committee of the Libertarian Party of Queens County encouraging you
NOT to attend the Non-Business portion of the LPNY Annual Convention
to be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Suffolk County.
The resolution was made by John Clifton, former 3-term LPNY Chair
(and Immediate Past Chair) and the LPNY's Gubernatorial Candidate
this past November.
RESOLUTION: due to the unjustified and unprecedented de-chartering of
the 12-year old Libertarian Party of Queens County by the LPNY and
its failure to re-charter it after it held a valid organizing
convention on January 13, 2007, the Executive Committee of the LPQC
hereby encourages all members of the LPQC, LPNY and LPUS to boycott
the Annual Convention of the LPNY (non-business portion) scheduled to
be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Suffolk County and to attend
instead a Queens LP Solidarity Lunch that will be held directly after
the LPNY Annual Business Meeting (which you can attend for free) on
the same date in the vicinity of the hotel.
PLEASE RE-POST THIS MESSAGE FAR AND WIDE AND JOIN US IN THIS BOYCOTT
EITHER BY PERSONALLY NOT ATTENDING THE LPNY CONVENTION AND/OR BY
SPONSORING THIS RESOLUTION IN ANY LIBERTARIAN PARTY ORGANIZATION IN
WHICH YOU MAY BE A MEMBER.
