Nationalism is neither statism nor socialism! Maintaining our national sovereignty is what enables us to exercise our individual rights. The foreign invasion is not just that of ethnicity: it is of ideas, such as an entitlement society which does not recognize individual rights and responsibilities. These ideals re becoming predominant in this country due in part, to the export of poverty to our country from Mexico, and the socialist mentality of Mexican peasantry. Examples are land redistribution and sanctuary, imported directly from Mexico and Latin America. Yes, these ideas are from Europe, but in Texas, they come largely from Mexico. Then there is the role of students and student demonstrations. Being Libertarian does not mean that we are cowards who refuse to defend this country and our freedoms. It does not mean that we accept no responsibility, and it does not mean that we are anarchists. It also does not mean that we are bound to extend American citizenship to every person who wants it in this world. Requirements for citizenship for immigrants can, and should, be brutally Darwinistic and exclusive.

Many would apply that term to anyone who even uses the terminology "illegal alien." The term is accurate, and those who condemn its use are doing so using the rationale of Plitical Correctness. To me, the whole rationale of Political Correctness is anathema to the philosophy of Lebertarianism. I believe that one can be both Libertarian and patriotic, believing in the uniqueness, the exceptionality and the sovereignty of the United States, while believing in individual freedom. As to the 78%:"Six million Frenchmen can be wrong!" That, too, is a basic tenet of Libertarianism as I perceive it. Furthermore, the 12 million figure is a joke. The figure I've seen is that 10% of Mexico's population is in this country. We need to enforce our immigration laws vigorously, starting with strict and severe employer sanctions. That is > why I consider Bush a traitor. The second biggest threat to our society is not Al Qeda, but the invasion from Mexico, and he refuses to do anything about it!
