MODERATOR'S NOTE: While these "earmarks" are certainly a problem, they are only
one symptom of this tumor we call socialism. No one should have the authority
to forcibly take money from you and then decide how that money should be spent.
Under socialism this is know as "taxes". In the real world it is known as
"aggravated theft".

One Big Problem with Congress is the ability to add so-called 'earmarks' to a
spending bill.
--This rule needs to be changed so that politicans cannot add items to a
related spending bill to 'bring home'
pork to thier state or district.

--The US Consitution does not not permit Congress to steal (tax) money from
every American by the the force of government to pay for a museum, baseball
stadium or a rock garden.

--a report shows 8056 earmarks totaling over $8.5 Billion or 13.5% of the US
Transportation Deparment's $63 Billion Spending plan

--Now politicans tell us that we must have toll roads beacsue we cannot to
otherwise build enough highways---see where the highway sp0ending has gone.
