Welcome to the Socialist Republic of Texas where 'almighty' big brother is here to look out for every need throughout your life and tell you how best to live. Just give us your money big brother knows best how best to spend it.
This agentcy is another 'feel-good' agency that the Leglisature has created and then tried to fool taxpayers by 're-organizing' back in 2003. It is still big and wasteful with socialcrats with NOTHING productive created. When you have regualtion, politicans can be infulenced by political contributions (bribed) to use the regualtory power of government to allow politically infulentual to gain control over ownership of providers and facilities and fix prices. This is a tool of politicans to maintain power with your tax money. Note; Check some of the pages and see items like 'careers' which shows that these peopel are more interested in exapnding government than in providing services. Here is a link to the another wasteful agency. Besides looking at Washingtonm, we need to look at Texas. David http://www.dads.state.tx.us/ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
