Which is why I can't understand why that faction (or those who think they are) of the libertarian movement dislikes Bush so much. He is doing exactly what they think and say they want. Carving the public (and our) property up and giving it to private interest for a song. Now we not only have government (which ours was designed to be able for the public to steer and keep it in control), but corporations running it, both of which now think they are above the law (the corporations only using "government" as their administrative arm for their own profit), and there is no way to rein in the corporations, because they are completely out of our influence since most have become international. Funny, I always thought that was the very definition of fascism. I see little difference between a bunch of crooks calling themselves government and another bunch calling themselves corporations.
