Wendie, You're right. Assuming most of his audience was American and white, Carlin bombed the fuck out of them. You know you're listening to a very special comedian when he starts attacking his audience, and gets away with it. Of course his point was made by the stupid reaction of many members in the audience who didn't even realize he was ridiculing them; they cheered at the notion of being too incompetent to do anything but bomb brown people - as if they were at a pep-rally for war.
