I'm not sure how easy that is. Many products contain both domestic and foreign parts. Some contain foreign parts, but are assembled by American workers. Some contain American parts, but are assembled by foreign (Mexican) workers. If we create a situation where it has to be all-foreign or all-American, we may introduce inefficiency to the market, since mixed origins may produce the cheapest or best product.
