Excellent example, gonzales. The AT&T monopoly was established and maintained 
by government. Thanks for arguing the other side of your case. AT&T at the time 
was called a "regulated monopoly." Even after the breakup of AT&T, the local 
phone companies were monopolies granted and regulated by government. It was not 
until the advent of mobile-phone technology that the phone companies broke free 
of government strangulation. Maybe you are too young to remember when the only 
mobile phones were car phones, identified by a huge funny antenna on the trunk 
of the car.

I don't know what you mean about Standard Oil being the only one controlling 
oil. Can you bring some specific facts about that to light?
